Whats peoples views on giving a dog extra potassium in there diet when there being ran hard in season, any benefits or risks?

 

Some used to give tinned tomatoes to get potassium into there dogs before products like beta cel.

I used to use the tinned tomatoes but now the only thing that i add to my dogs feed is a horse mineral and vitamin supplement and only then during the hunting season

Tin tomates very good always gve my dogs it I also gve them beta k its same tub but helps the liver recover quick when long runs sometimes you see this if dog gets a lot they piss blood that's the kidneys under pressure beta k helps.

That horse stuff I used was called Fast Electro - Recovery.. Recons it aided against dehydration.. It was for horses reconed to double dose 2 days before strenous work..

I use beta-cal in the season. Just add it to the food. Also I was told cider vinigar is very good to stop cramps
