whats best for new pup

Hiya guys new to the site I've just bought a new pup and want to give it the best possible start she's a 9 week old saluki bull greyhound x saluki deerhound greyhound and wanted your opinions on what has worked best for you in feeding and when to start working a dog all your comments would be much appreciated thanks

If you’re new to dogs go for a decent puppy complete to ensure a balanced diet, add in scraps, meat and soft bones etc. I’d forget about working for now, rather concentrate on rearing and training a pup, once that’s done there will be plenty of time for work.

Too many people are ill-advised about raw feeding and I think it can do more harm than good if you don't know what your doing.

for me ive always fed beta puppy with some dog mince from the butcher mixed in , as for working her shes a long way of that yet let her be a puppy play with her get her out and socialise her with other dogs and people once shes had her jabs while all the time working on basic training lead work sit stay recall and retrieve and braking her to ferrets if your going to use her for that in about 10 or 11 months depending on the dog everyone is different she will be ready for a bit of work

Might be the photo Cam, but it looks a bit underweight with a pot belly, get it wormed asap with some GOOD QUALITY wormers.....not shop bought crap

Will do moll she is nearly due for worming again anyway any ideas were to get some top quality wormers

with regards to BARF feeding, i feed my adult dogs on whole carcass chicken i get from a local farm and rabbits when ive got some in the freezer. it is ok to feed an 8 week old pup with raw whole carcass chicken isnt it? or would it be better minced/ cut up?

Get some Drontal or panacur, you can get it online, some chemists and the vets....more expensive if bought at the vets though, online will be cheaper
