Our kids just been given a original 25 gun, anyone got an idea when these first came out? The guy who gave him it said his dad bought it for him 50yrs ago

I don't think he's probably too far out, Chris. They're as old as the hills!! Cracking little junior rifles, my boys could do with something like that, buying Co2 for the Ratty is killing me!!

Yeah it's just the right size for the young ones, I think he's going to restore it , although its not in bad condition just needs a bit of blueing and the stock resanding and staining

I got an original mod 50 here ..they were about in the 70s I think..its all in bits atm, needs a good going over

Lovely old rifles those but a bit of a pig to work on, the trigger mechanism's a bitch!! Springs and ball bearings all over the workshop. I used to hate working on them

I noticed that when I thought "oh project" lol all in bits how much would I be looking at? I haven't got the knowledge neither cash at present time ..its got a split stock at fore end which has been glued (before I had it ) and a few pins missing which can be picked up from chambers ..I don't really want to get rid, but its just sat there
