Saluki Blooded Dog's

As you can tell i'm bored and it is still too hot to get the dog's out...anyway i've just been sat thinking and wondering how long have Saluki based dog's been in England..

:laugh: A little before my time but i have always been led to believe that after the 60's when the motorways were built it gave folk greater access to travel with their dogs, and the 70's saw an increase in coursing dogs and saluki blood?

first saluki was in the u/k either 1923 or 34 gifted to colonel lance .name sarona kelb from damascus syria
