suppressing a bitches season

hi all

my mate suppresses his greyhound bitches for racing so he can run them more often ,my bitch has just started to bleed today 2nd one now @18 mths

so looks like she s going to be 6 monthly

i dont want her spaying but i have a lab dog what gets a bit excited when she s ready

when can i suppress the bitch is it before she s due ,during ????

could do but theres other dogs in the area too when out walking

I think you can use a course of delvosterone to keep her out of season. I had my JRT jabbed last time she was in to take her out again because my male lurcher drives me f*****g dull whining when she's in season.
