Guest born to run1083
Hi lads lasses anyone with lurchers out there with only 1/4 sight hound in them pop a pic up and say it's breeding , what got me on to this as today saw a mates 3/4 bull 1/4 grey and it looked not much different to a grey so obviously a throw back. Just for comparison any one with a dog with 1/4 sight hound and 3/4 non running dog pop it up and let us know how it works and add info like it's speed and agility as my mates could sure motor. Goes to show percentages don't really mean much at all lol and pick of the draw on what your getting . Cheers lads Edited May 18, 2012 by born to run1083 Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,217
BTR - Was it a straight pure over half x, or lurcher x lurcher, that that percentage? Quote Link to post

Pure over half cross mate, I would expect it more if it wasn't but as it isn't Lurcher x Lurcher I would of thought it def throw more to bull then the grey Quote Link to post

Genetics are mad though, you never quite know what you are going to get, the owner of the estate by me has a 20" tts, maybe taller, pat, from a litter of all spannable earth dogs. . . . . bird 10,016
seen a 3/4 pit 1/4 grey, and to be honest you may have had pure pit, it was 21in 60lb same as some big pits that you can get. Iike the idea of the x , for terrier work, but not sure if 1/4 greyhound would show enough in this x .? 1 Quote Link to post
KittleRox 2,147
1/2 collie, 1/4 bull, 1/4 grey pretty much schooled to the ferreting game, quite decent on the lamp as well around these parts, never been layed up ( touch wood ) strictly bunnys but would take to fox I would imagine, has some attitude Quote Link to post

What's it's pace and agility like being only 1/4 running dog Quote Link to post
