Phantom 631
Recently I turned my little Combro into a rather expensive 3D jigsaw puzzle  I created this puzzle whilst chrongraphing my HW40, the unit can not be fitted to the end of the said pistol so I had to hold the unit against the muzzle to do so. All was going well until I pressed the trigger on the fourth shot and for some reason or other moved at the moment of discharge! Lucky for me my fingers although stinging from the transfer of energy into the front of the unit they remained well out of the pellets path After finding all the bit's I reassembled the jigsaw and held it all together with superglue and to my suprise the display indicated that all was well and the secondary sensor had survived both the impact and the destruction of the front end of the unit It appeared that all was well until I put the unit on my baby and it showed that my baby was now putting out almost 3ft/lbs lower than what I had expected! So to check if my baby was running low or whether it was the chrono that was out, I put it on my springer, again this gun was also showing almost 3ft/lbs lower than what I was expecting. After mentioning it to a friend of mine, he suggested I sent the unit off to Rob at Combro. I was expecting the repair to be pretty expensive as not only did it require a new case for the unit, it was also going to need recalibrating again I contacted Combro for the address, and was suprised it was a freepost address, after a week or so of forgetting to post it, I sent it off two days ago, and have just opened an email from Combro to say the unit had now been fixed and has been recalibrated, not only that it was back in the postal system Hows that for service Oh and the cost? Less than a tenner Many thanks to the guy's at Combro Tony Quote Link to post
