FX Verminator

Recommended Posts

Hi

Does anyone use the above gun, if so how do you find it? How accurate and reliable is it? And just how do you find the gun in general.

Please point out bad points as well if there are any!

I need a new gun but as I'm quite small (and not particularly strong) I need a lightish gun I can happily carry around for the day and shoot with, but certainly don't want to fork out that sort of money for something I'm not going to be happy with.

Thanks Rowan

I have owned the FX Verminator mark 1 in 2009 which was the most accurate air rifle i have shot.

Very light and nice to fire especially with Bisley Magnums in .177.

Mine broke though after 3 days of vermin shooting (leaked) so i took it back to the shop and swapped it for a HW100KT in .22 which was also a brilliant rifle.

I have had my hand s on a mark 2 Verminator though only a few weeks ago and that is another kettle of fish and all the gripes that i had with the mark 1 are now ironed out.

I would defo buy a mark 2.

Thanks alot for that, I had a hw100kt but found it to heavy for me and was constantly having to find a place to lie and use the bipod!!

Think I'm definately saving those pennies then and buying the verimnator mk2
