Purse Nets

As per usual I thought 'That looks easy' and tried to make a purse net What a f***ing mess Ive made of it Surely there must be a DVD available that shows clearly how to do it? Ive bought all the required equipment and several books but Im better with watching rather than reading in order to understand. Please help, Im a great believer in making your own stuff. Thanks in advance. :thumbs-up:

Know where ye coming from with the watch and learn, Jul. Old boy in Pompey ~ Ernie Buck ~ showed my first wife how to knit a purse net. Within thirty minutes she was unstoppable! Spent the entire afternoon there after, at the show we were manning, 'Demonstrating' how to whip the bloody things up!

 

Must say, I've never heard of such a visual. Be a good thing though, eh?

I toyed with the idea of having a go as well,i think i would find it easier to have someone who has made them to show me rather than follow an instruction book

Thats what i mean i cant follow an instruction book i need showing , i cant knit either finishing school was clearly a waste of time in my case

Its easier watching somebody doing it than trying to pick it up from a book and you might pick up a trick or two from the guy showing you as well .
