Probuk 93
Hi Just been out, and zeroed at 30 yards, shot at 15 pellet going to right, shot 45 yards pellet going to left?????? What's going on, it a 1.77 hw100?? Thanks Weather.?? Is it windy or is there a breez on.?? The 100 is very accurate so it could be bad pellet choice..Im using JSB Exact's and i get pellet through pellet hole at 35y Are you using a bipod or rest to help you keep the rifle steady while you zero it.? Probuk 93
Strange Iv had 3 HW100 177 In the last 5 year's and they'v been spot on, straght out the box and down the range and zerod in a couple of minute's. The last two liked AA Field's but the current one like's JSB Exact's. Id try a different pellet personally or you may of got a bad batch..Im told JSB and AA Fields are the same pellet. One of the tins of JSBs i had recently where terrible, they where deformed around the skirt's but still hit where i wanted them to hit Failing that..Smash it up and buy another rifle..I would Atb Good luck Quote Link to post
smecky 52
I'm not talking loads out, like about 10mm over 20yards! Still hitting everything I'm shooting at! Cheers Quote Link to post
fry 209
probably just a one off try it another day with different pellets after a barrel clean. i had a day last year trying to zero my 410 and i was getting groups like chicken pox used nearly all my fill could not understand it. turns out it was the bloody long grass i was clipping with the shots Quote Link to post
smecky 52
Gonna buy some exacts today and a pull through, see how I get on with them. Could cleaning the barrel make a diff and should I lube the pellets or keep them dry?? ? Quote Link to post
StevoSmith 147
Cleaning the barrel is a must when changing pellets mate....once i clean my barrel i run about 30-40 pellets through before i zero to make sure barrel is releaded good and propper hope this helps mate I also wash any new pellets in warn soapy water to remove any grit or leads shavings then let them dry and spray a very small amount of Napier pellet lube on them leave to dry then use them Quote Link to post
