well its been that time of year again the trip north of the border for the annual rookfest and fieldsport extravaganza shooting fishing trapping snaring ,rat blowing ,thats another story :whistle: , honest three days of night and day was had by all ,i posted the snaring and trapping in there place ,but a big thanks too woodga again for a top time with some good crack with the lads there including ratcherman,nightimenellie ,john ,mr woodga senior,and his mate ,it s what is all about being out there doing it wiith top craic too ,am sure the others will have there say ,heres a couple from the 3 days ,also a few stats for the numbers man ,7 guns ,1400 pellets,500 cartridges,30 .22 rimfire shells ,2 bird scarers , ok ,we also found a couple nests when there a hen pheasant and a waterhen, both left to get on with the duties , i think the other lads will have a few more to add

yes it was a pleasure to have ratchermamn rob sharpe nighttimenellie john and my fathers mob up for the anual shoot over three days we accounted for nearly 1000 rooks we had a bit of snaring but not lots due to the rain some trapping and loads of laughs it was a pleasure having you lads and the bird scarer was robs idea jim :whistle: honest

WHAT !!!, i still got a ringing in me ears lol, had a great time lads , shot a few rooks, pigeons, rabbits,and a rat, which isnt bad going for a lad with one glass eye and one cock-eye

I would like to say thank you to all the lads who showed up on the shooting/snaring/trapping/fishing and pirotechnics weekend. Myself, Woodga, Rob Sharpe and Nighttimenellie had a cracking weekend thanks to Woodga for organising it all. We had a great time on the rooks, just a pity the fields were too wet for lamping but in saying that we were never bored!!! :whistle: Next time we will have to make sure we do a lot more of this . Thanks again lads for an explosive weekend. p.s. Hope the ringing in your ears settles down shortly Nighttimenellie :whistle:
