what springer

hi just want some advise on what springer to get ive got 150 to buy a second hand had a hw90 but sold it to buy my pcp but i no i am not going to get anything like that with that sort of money what do u think of the bsa lighting

The lightning is ok mate....i had one and used to hunt with it all the time....not the best rifle in world but like you say you only have 150 notes you should be able to get a decent one for that price

With a little searching and alot of haggling you may be able to get a HW57 also mate for that price and if your really cheeky like myself my even be able to haggle yourself a mk1 tx lol....i love springers also mate thats all i shoot i dont do pcp's

Search carefully, google the name of the gun you want, like TX200 for sale then select past week and UK only in the options on the left, will bring up many options, not just forum sites....

The early airsporters are great rifle but i believe they can be quite loud even with mod

You would be surprised, the TX may need a little care but they have been seen for sale from £140!

Google is your friend use it, be prepared to travel a little to get what you want too! Do not knock the HW95 either, these break barrels are probably the best break barrel on the market. I am well known for a strange addiction to cheap Turkish air rifles, but for someone used to the best, the best is HW or AA.

 

I just like my Hatsans too!

I am well known for a strange addiction to cheap Turkish air rifles, but for someone used to the best, the best is HW or AA.

Well try for a 95 then! That break barrel is a peach, light weight, low recoil and good power!

i'm not gonna knock the '95 but you should be able to pick up an old hw80 for that kind of money mate, definitely worth looking into. every bit as accurate as the 95(i found it more so, but thats cos it fitted me better-i find the '95 too light) and a bit heaver. made to last forever...
