trinder 127
middle of march and you put a post up about catching hares on here? ( its always a mate) why? bell end! if you can find hares within 40mile of where i live id give you a grand ! And who do u think you are callin me a bellend ? My point of the post was about the dog that caught it not the situation so do one you fkin prick is there anywhere in Wales that doesn't have hares within a 40 mile radius???? Thought they were throughout the UK to be honest? if i wanted to find hare id have to do a trip over the bridge , same goes for all the lads i know , dont get me wrong there could be a few on the big estates but dont fancy getting my dog shot by the keepers 1 Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
Rob - There used to be hares about mate, and on some of my permissions as well. . . . . but they got wiped out by lads lamping them over and over with multiple dogs etc. There are a few places which have them, but they are a closely guarded secret, god forbid too many lurcher / guns lads found out, it would be ruined for good. I'm not surprised that the dog caught it, i doubt it was given any law, it had its mind on other things, etc etc. No impressive feat. Quote Link to post
lanesra 4,007
Im not saying it wasnt , just looked quite lean on the pic and if they were boxing doesnt that mean their males , i dont see hares round my way and my mate lives up country so ive had no way of seeing it for myself No mate the male and female box together the way you put it is that only male and females box together not the case at all males box to sus out whos the dominant male and the winner normally will get his leg over I think you will find when boxin its always the female fending off the male , people use to sumise it was the males showin dominance to each other but its not, i cant understand anyone runnin hares this time off yr . 1 Quote Link to post
