Sharing a cabinet

[bANNED TEXT] guys the thing is me and my brother both have SGC's but we only have one cabinet at the moment he is the only one with access to it but we are wanting to put his shotguns on my certificate so that i can take them when i want to go out without him and was wondering how we go about it ?

I'm not 100% about the access part but ive heard u can use the cabbinet, as for the guns,they don't need to be on your cert for you to use them I believe u can borrow them for 72 hours,but to be fair you both have sgc so I would have thought access was ok but by all means call your feo, my mate has a sgc but didn't buy a gun for years he used to borrow his brothers and take it back at the end of each day,

I've experienced this, 2 people sharing a gun cabinet, FEO told me to put all the guns on BOTH certificate's, then you both have legal access to the contents of the cabinet. Call your Firearms enqiery officer to sort it out.

My FEO told me the same when I asked him if I could share my dads cabinet.

I had the same thing , I had three rifles and a 12g my brother shared my safe, the feo said if I put a chain through the triggers to stop him taking any, and that would be fine. So should be fine all the best

just spoke the the FEO he said we just have to put the shotguns down as shared on my SGC and send a letter of to firearms admin stating that they we both have access and we want the shotguns to be in both out names , cheers for the answers lads !
