Advice: 100grn+ .243 ammo which brand is best in your M595?

As per title.

 

Can I please ask your advice...

 

Pick up my M595 on tuesday and would like to find a starting point to experiment with ammo and save some money on tricks already tried!

 

will mainly be for deer, Roe in particular, with the odd fox. The stipulation is that it must be 100grn heads or more to conform to both England and Scottish deer laws.

 

So please post the manufactures and types found to hold the best attributes for your Tikka M595'.

To be honest each rifle has it's own likes and dislikes,but a good place to start is with Winchester 100gr or Remington Core-Lokt 100gr.both are pretty consistant,it's just whether your rifle likes them.Maybe think of reloading your own,and that way it is not only cheaper but it is easier to get something that suits your rifle.

Hey up Chris, I've been using Prvi Partizan 100g sp and up to now they have been spot on for my 243 but like martin said,It's whether your rifle likes them , you can buy them cheaper than you can load your own. £13 a box .atb pipcock

picked up a couple of boxes of cheap privi 100grn whilst picking up the gun as they had them in stock.... will give them a go zeroing etc this weekend and take it from there!

 

reloading is an intention in the future, just want to get to a point where i know thats whats holding me back (if i can ever get that good?!?) and know that i'm confident to take the plunge. fortunatly there is a guy here local who has a rep for being a bit of a demon loader so will be plying him with plenty of tea and biscuits to unlock his secrets shortly!!!
