Sherlock 42
Taken from Shooting News Feb 13-19 1987, born April 1970 Sire Scarlet Pinpernel out of the tiny bitch Cookie. Won the Waterloo Cup as a puppy. The following year Linden Eland again at Altcar fell heavily breaking a fore leg and never raced again. Eland had a productive stud career and died in 1982 . In the article Linden Eland is photographed with trainer Hartley Hawes ( with cup ) and Stanley Turner, kennel lad. Cheers Sherlock. 1 Quote Link to post
Sherlock 42
Linden Eland sired a bitch greyhound that was bred with David Hancocks Richard Jones. Apparently Hancocks dogs have some good blood in them after all. Quote Link to post

Sherlock 42
I gained this information from Hancocks web site he has the pedigree charts there for public viewing . Chart No 4, the pup that Richard Jones and old Salley ( linden eland sired ) produced was Little Linnet in 1991. This dog produced Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. Cheers Sherlock. Quote Link to post
