jasper65 6 Posted March 3, 2012 Report Share Posted March 3, 2012 had bit of a fall last sunday at first i thought i was ok by sunday night my ribs whr killing me -- thought i`d broke my ribs had bit of pain monday seemed to get better as the week went on all seemed ok by yesterday . thought i`d got away away with a bit of bruising -- today differant story fecking killing me -- when i move when i take deep breaths cough sneeze even my backs hurting -- anyone ever busted ribs what i can expect anything apart from painkillers to ese the pain Broke my ribs a year or so ago Stig after running into a Fox snare and ending up flat on my stomache in the woods . have to say bud I can smile about it now but I have never had pain like it and spent weeks sleeping upright on the sofa... this is the link to it when I did it .... leegreen 2,254 Posted March 3, 2012 Report Share Posted March 3, 2012 I've not had broken ribs but I've had fractured cartilage a couple of times (which apparently is more common) playing rugby and also with a motor bike accident. I can tell you it's very painful, it makes breathing, moving, laughing, coughing, sneezing, shagging and pretty much anything to do with moving difficult. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
