You have a 70-300mm,. you are never going to get anything at that range, even with bigger telephoto lenses the knack is getting as close as you can.. Practice on bigger stuff, seagulls, flying swans, go to a local bird of prey centre and practice on flying owls..people think if they have a 300mm lense they can get great images at the other end of a football pitch, dosnt work that way, I have a full ghullie suit, a pop up hide, and my car, some of the best images I have were taking from my car, wildlife seems to tolerate a car, but not a person..get closer Edited March 4, 2012 by Romany Quote Link to post Share on other sites
