I wouldn't recommend it, firstly because it is unnecessarily cruel, secondly because in a confined space they can easily scratch your snakes eye or a cornered rat can kill a snake (they really are vicious fuckers when they need to be, they can bloody up a terrier pretty efficiently). Thirdly, it is illegal so you won't find a feeder company, you would have to breed your own but please use common sense and give them a wack on the back of the head first (you can flick a mouse and kill it instantly, but it is still warm for the snake ). If you can't get your snake to eat dead food, warm the food up in warm water and use forceps to wiggle it around like it is alive, if that doesn't work then try crushing the mouse's head so it smells bloody to the snake. Oh and always feed it outside of the tank. If it is not for a snake, ignore the above Quote Link to post Share on other sites
