owain_88 0
Hi guys Jusy got my cabinet and permission and now ready to apply for my FAC, my only problem is that the landlord wont allow me to bolt anything to the wall or keep firearms on the premises. So my only option is to keep the cabinet at my parents house which is a short drive down the road and is more secure than my curent house and i would obviously be the only one in posession of the keys. I emailed the local FEO and he said it was within the law but couldnt guarantee that this would be ok with the visiting officer. Should i just give up now or install it and hope for the best?? Has anyone got a similair situation?? Thanks for any help Owain Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
Shouldn't be a problem. As long as the cabinet is secure, the house is secure and the only person who will have access to the keys is you. Quote Link to post

PLEDGEY 496
Tell the FAO that you'll keep the bolt and any mags at your place. Quote Link to post
TWOTWOTHREE 152
Hi I know a lad who keeps his guns at his dads house a few miles from his house and he's had no bother, and no one else has a licence at his dads, probably depends if your feo likes the idea or not, that's sgc so maybe different for fac,or tell your landlord to get a grip it's not like your going to use his house for target practice, Atb Quote Link to post

PMC 2
I don't see any issue with having your cabinet installed at your parents providing it's secured correctly and you are the only one with access. The thing to do would be to give your licensing department a ring, easier to find out one way or another direct from the horses mouth! PMC Quote Link to post
