  2. Hi guys Jusy got my cabinet and permission and now ready to apply for my FAC, my only problem is that the landlord wont allow me to bolt anything to the wall or keep firearms on the premises. So my only option is to keep the cabinet at my parents house which is a short drive down the road and is more secure than my curent house and i would obviously be the only one in posession of the keys. I emailed the local FEO and he said it was within the law but couldnt guarantee that this would be ok with the visiting officer. Should i just give up now or install it and hope for the best?? Has anyon
  3. Dam looked about 14 but the sire was a bit of a tank, must have bin 17 and stocky! He's not going to do any digging work as he's my first working terrier so learning the ropes a bit myself. Thought I might play to his strengths and use him on rabbits as he's like lightning when he gets going!
  4. Cheers guys, hope to get a few of him working up soon.
  5. 8 months at the moment, got him off the terrier man at the local hunt. Great dog, but bloody tall!
  6. Took him out for first try at some rats and a bit of bushing today, slow going but he's getting there.
  7. Sure I will be. will try an get a pic of the pup up, leggy little Bugger though!
  8. Found this forum the other day looking for training tips, been hooked since. Ive been a shooting man for years but always fancied working with terriers mainly ratting and cover work when beating. Got myself a Russell dog and at 8 months I'm starting to put him through his paces, picked up some good advice from what you lads have put up. Cheers Owain
