oakey 57
Now the end of season (unless it turns really cold ) time to look at my ferret finders they work ok to a point they wont pick up from 8ft any more and can be temperamental to say the least . Anyone got any idea how much mick dadd would charge to service them or is it time to invest in a new mk3 ? or could i perhaps have a go myself but the last thread i saw on here made no sense to me at all it went on about 2 screws inside the box that i couldn't see in any of mine. Country Joe 1,411
I suppose it depends on the state of them, think he charged me £20 for a service, give him a ring, I recently purchased a mark 3 and i just cant take to it, with its space sounds, does my head in, there was nothing wrong with the mark 1, except give the reciever a colour change. It was just Deben wanting to make more money from us. And i think its scandalous, that they refuse to fix or service the mark1s good job there are lads out there like Mick dadd. Quote Link to post
The one 8,600
Give him a phone then post it to him i think £20 is about a average service but he has to see them in case there's something else wrong with them . Quote Link to post
oakey 57
I think i will give him a ring , not many people seem to like the mk3 or say any benefits to having one the only one i can see is that the collars are thinner allowing the ferret to slip in and out of the nets Quote Link to post
