1) Harris is most forgiving bird to learn with but people often upgrade from them after a season very unfair on the poor old harris

2) Not too hard to keep them but very hard to do them justice in terms of time

3) Weathering/Avairy, Telemetry, Travel box/cadge, Glove, Bow perch, Food, Bath, leather/Jess, swivel, leash and time All these things vary in price depending on how and what you use where you buy etc.

4)Harris take rabbits pigeons and anything else they can get hold of but in open flight are usually a little slow for taking feather Falcon maybe a better choice for crow and pigeon something like a perexsaker (in which case your going to need to add creance lure and hood to yoru list of equipment)

5)Yes

dont bother with a long wing until you have a very good understanding about them or a harris come to that.you need a great deal more in terms of understanding ie weight, training, food, general knoledge about bop-then just the hard ware!.

once you understand how to train a hawk then consider getting one...might sound harsh but the truth is so many new guys havernt got a clue loose the bird get hurt -hurt someone elss and then scratch ther head.....do all your homework-trust me....atvb

Ditch the questions above and find a mentor all the rest will follow

Harsh advice but best advice IMO

Area you from btw ?

This does sound harsh but in truth if you are really considering owning a bird then its the best advice you can be given.
