Lamping question...

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've got a lurcher bitch here who is proving to be a bit of an enigma.... When I lamp her solo, just me and the bitch, she always does me proud. Good strike, excellent retrieve, always silent and straight back to hand when the lamp is switched off. When I go out with friends and their dogs she is prone to the occasional yap and isn't as sharp when catching or coming back after a run. The difference in her can be on consecutive nights! On Sunday eve she had three from four and looked class, on Monday out with friends not anywhere near as good.

I'm presuming it's a jealousy issue due to other dogs being around but I was wondering if anyone on here has experienced the same issue?
