oneshot1986 72 Posted February 13, 2012 Report Share Posted February 13, 2012 my grey x malamute x cn buddy caught his first rabbit at 4 1/2 months on the lamp he had a bit of luck as there was a good fence in place and the rabbit bounced off it but they all count i was over the moon with him and am chuffed to bits with the way he is coming on he gets over all the fences now and is looking straight down the beam soon as it comes on i havnt come on here for people to say hes to young your bugger his joints and so on this is the method ive seen used so this is the way im going to do things just thought i would keep you all updated on my dogs progress fingers crossed he keeps improving atb oneshot Quote Link to post

jcm 2,327 Posted February 13, 2012 Report Share Posted February 13, 2012 Personaly a think if you get a dog out young and do bits and bobs with it get it a few catches a think they get that early knowledge and begin to take rabbits with ease and start to think that bit harder out in the field imo.
