redpat1 225
staffpeg, on 13 February 2012 - 01:26 PM, said: any up date pic of this dog I will put some new pics up in a while, all a bit of a sore point at the moment. She is nearly a year and I feel she is starting to mature and I want to get a couple of sessions in before the end of this season but the owner of my permission is dying (imminent) and I have lost the rights, I am struggling to find any where else to take her. She is a bitch from working stock and needs to work, the only land I have now is small and more suited to terrier work. She is a lovely, loyal dog and I feel I am letting her down by not letting her reach her full potential at the moment, especially as she is now starting to fill out a bit and realising what she is for. I dont want to let her go as she is a diamond and I think she has what it takes for next season, is that being selfish? She gets plenty of exercise as I take her running but I dont think she is getting any mental stimulation from it. Any positive answers appreciated as I am feeling bad at the moment. PM me if preferred. (This is the post from the other thread) Pat Quote Link to post

redpat1 225
Thanks chaps, Dam is a Dave Platts Deer/Grey and Sire is a whippet, all out in the field and doing the business. The only thing that worries me about her is that she tends to like the bigger stuff and has bolted a couple by chance, given chase and cornered them, I have had to pull her away as she is going at them in someones garden, she is only 23" and still quite a slim build, although she is filling out nicely. redpat1 225
Forgot to ask, do you lads think she is fully grown height wise or is she still gonna keep on growing? I think she has only grown about an inch in the last 10 weeks. Quote Link to post
