when worming pups i thought that you should worm them from two weeks then every two weeks tell thay are three months old.then every three months from then on. my brother was talking to a vet this week and he said its a money makeing job he said a pup or dog should be wormed no more then four times a year.whut do you lot think about this?

Compostman your spot on with your worming, as are the other replies left.

 

An adult dog wormed every three months would be wormed 4 times a year, but a puppy is a different kettle of fish mate.

2 - 4 - 6 - 8 -10 - 12 weeks with Drontal Puppy

From then on every 3 Months with Drontal Plus tablets unless you see a worm infestation sooner.

This worming regime will see your dogs right.

Always give the wormer in the correct amount per body weight.

If you dont administer enough your wasting your time.

 

That about sums it up..... Thats my worming scheduel anyway

I was at the vet's the other day getting the pup's last jab...and the young lass vet must of thought it was my first puppy.. :D ..she was right in saying every 2wk's till 12 week's old then she cocked up and said a working dog need's worming every month or two.. :whistling: ..it's just aswell i oly use this local vet for getting pup's jabbed and other vet's for more serious stuff..
