robwelsh 354
i seen somewhere before that a .22 barrel can be shortend more than a .177 so i just wondering how short a .177 barrel could be shortend and how much it would cost roughly? Quote Link to post
paulus 26
dont know about air rifles but i assume its the same as rifles it depends on the twist rate in the barrel as the bullet has to do so many twists inside the barrel to stabalise it before exit, ive just had a 22lr shortened by derek at catton park the shortist he could due was 16inch do to the twist rate of the barrel Quote Link to post

wedge2409 98
no mate its the actual barrel and he then shortens the shroud and makes it in to a reflex type silencer...http://www.johnbowkett.co.uk/ look under extra service's Quote Link to post
Metalman2 45
Shortening the barrel will not affect accuracy, but will lower the shot count Quote Link to post
