He is no in his kennel under a heat lamp but is whinning and in pain. Any idea if I can give him human painkillers like tramadol. he is on antibiotics and has a penicillin jab. Metacam and Rimadyl are anti inflamatory pain killers for dogs, only available (normally) from the vet, he should have given you some if it was needed. Ears are a particularly sensitive body part, so i expect he will be in some discomfort. try bathing it in a mild salty water solution, it may sooth it for him. I used to take tramadol myself mate, made me shit through a privet hedge without touching a leaf, dont give it to your dog ffs. Hope its of some help.
