chrismdd 787
Hi folks Haven't been out since before Christmas, my usual ferreting companion has got shift work and other commitments so today I took my 4 yr old lad who has been before and enjoys a couple of hours but that's about his limit at the moment especially with the drop in temperature. Anyway we did four very small hedgerow buries which I've done plenty of times before so wasn't expecting much but did them anyway as I know I can keep an eye on my lad. Nearing two hours he was getting fed-up so called it a day and went home to clean the ferrets out. Bumped into farmers wife who said when you going to come up and do ours they eating all my plants! So this is really a plea to see if anyone would like a ferret on a regular basis. I've just got a load more permission and can get more but don't want to take on too much and not be able to keep to my word. Its all small field and orchard ferreting in hedgerows with nets (purse and long) and some of those hedges are very thick and nasty blackthorn crawling stuff. So if you're interested give us a call. Due to my own busy life (got a 1 yr old as well) I generally go every other Saturday/Sunday from October to March. Location: 8 miles from Yeovil, South Somerset. Also do a lot of river and sea fishing. I'll post in the opportunities section as well. Regards Chris Quote Link to post
