quick question? how long should the old style belt rig 12v 14amp Deben last with a stricker. Cheers

i used mine wid a blitz wid a 50 watt bulb in would get a good 5 hours plus on the back of the van with it,i used to run it totally flat now and again then it got a full charge.

mine starts dying after about 2 hours is it time for a new one???

yes i would say so,have you checked the wiring?

Depends on what bulb your using and whether your lamp happy mate check the fuses on both batteries and connect the lamp to each one

would that make a difference then buddy connecting the lamp to both batts. Cheers

HGB am thinking of a blitz, how come you changed the bulb to 50 watt ? Am now using the deben version off the striker, not that impressed with it. I still have my old coleman 800,000 that i used to use back in the 90,s for roadsiding off the back of the van with

you get longer out of ya batteries, it dont make any difference to the beam,try it mate you'll be surprised,i have a 14 amp lithium now running a blitz wid a 50 in,my brother lamped off the back of the van one night on his own(both sides of the road)so the light was on pretty much all of the time,we were out about 4/5 hours cant remember exactly and the battery had only used two of the five indicator lights, if yorkshirelad2 can afford it i would go for the lithium.
