Gorgeous pup lad. As JD said looks like it could be a big strong dog. Like the look of it on the whole, I dont know much but looks like a cracker.

21/22 at 5 months!!! she going to be a good size mate..my bets are on 25"....keep us informed on her progress...she looks the spit of my mates weaton /grey...i will try and get a piccy....good luck/....JD

Yeah she's coming along nicely mate. I'd love to see that pic if you can get one I had a bull/grey once who was bigger than her (nearly 23") at 14 weeks old!! He made 30" in the end and is now (*ahem* was) pulling down deer for a living with a pro mate of mine. Gotta love those running dogs.

 

That reminds me, seen your new book out and about - I'll have to get me a copy some day soon, see what you've been up to since the Moocher days lol (mooch didn't reply to my mail about getting back onto the forum after the upgrade?! :ph34r: )

Who mentioned first cross? He was a 5/8 grey 3/8 bull, and a good one at that. If ya don't believe me, ask Bull Cross - he bred the bugger! LOL

Here y'are lads, a couple of indoors pics of my Saluki/Grey/Wheaten x Bull/Grey pup Belle. She's five months old now, and marks rabbit holes strongly when we're walking about.  Roll on September/October so I can put the ferret down and show her what its all about 

 

Sorry they're crappy pics, I'd get some out in the field but it'd normally only be the local park or the beach - I don't like hunting outside of 'season'  :whistle: JMHO.

 

This is her at...erm, 11 weeks I think this was.

 

Now this morning at five months:

 

Lazy arsed mutt LOL    She's thrown strongly to the Wheaten, and take a look at that muzzle - it's the same width all the way down, virtually as big as her skull.  Almost bullish but with wheaten whiskers   Can't wait to see how she does, she's 21/22" now.

Anyone like to tell me what the advantage of wheaten over bull is, or is it just a matter of preference?

i have been after a wheaten 1st cross greyhound for some time but cant find breeder would like one of spring view horace lines if any one can help just want a change from bull cross . nice looking pup
