my dogs knocked her nail up an its cracked whats best treatment also she cut the side off her pad is there any creams or anything that i could put on the help the healing process as the cut opens up everytime she makes a sudden move this happens a lot as shes a pup still an is very playfull

 

any help be appriated

Don't give in to temptation and just rest her up until it's completely healed mate. I know you don't want to just sit there looking at the dog doing nothing, but you really don't want it getting infected or anything like that. A simple wound that just requires a bit of rest could turn into something a lot worse if you don't just give it a simple clean and a bit of recovery time.

From what you wrote it sounds the same as what happened to a old dog.I bathed it with warm salt water and just light walking she was fine after a 1-2 weeks.

trim the nail as close to the split as you can, then just salt water and time for the pad, as soon as the split grows over the qwick trim it off
