Starting out gear

Recommended Posts

Hello People

For Christmas I got a hide, two packs of FUD decoy pigeons and a pack of shell decoys on the wobbler sticks.

Is this enough to get me started on decoying without splashing out more?

I am planning on joining the NPPC too, are any of you lads members?

Thanks in advice

Thats more than enough to start out with mate. I would recomend buying a pigeon magnet though once you get into it. It brings the pigeons in because the movement catches their eyes. But be aware avoid DECOYING.CO.UK at all costs, if your order something off their website the chances are it wont come but they will still take your money. Good luck with it..

More important than 3 tonnes of kit is being in the right place, at the right time.

Unless you're under/near a flightline, then all the flappers, bouncers and wobblers in the world won't make any difference.

Sounds like you've enough kit to start with; I'd be getting some recce work done ;)
