Hi I never thought to ask on here, but has anyone made there own dehydrator,I love jerky and bought one last yr, it turned out great used it twice spot on, then it gave up the supplier was contacted,it was replaced that gave up cheap chinese crap so I wondered, if any one had made one themselves.And if it was easy to do,if so how they went about it, I am starting to hit the roe does hard,and wanted to make best use of the meat but I am not going to spend another £60 on crap,can anyone advise please

You could get a decent one sent over from cabelas a lot cheaper than you would imagine, or you can get hold of plans easy enough to make one yourself. Think actually i might have plans here for one in an "off the grid book", will have a look, if there is i will pop them up.

That's Superb thanks for that, I was thinking of using old roses tins, and a 60 wat bulb,having once seen a incubator made in a similar way any advice or ideas are welcome, thanks can I ask if any one knows if rabbit meat can be used, for jerky
