bushing dogs dose anyone with them that get sore eyes

Recommended Posts

Killer, some dogs suffer more than others, its mainly down to breeding,I've bushed all my life with most types of terriers and other types and some strains don't suffer at all,I once had an eddie chapman bitch that suffered terribly after work and retired her aged 3yrs,she lost both eyes due to infection eventually aged 7yrs in her pet home,I keep plummers and russells and none of mine suffer with itchy feet or bad eyes,my dogs are bred for bushing, golden eye ointment works well for minor scratches but the teabag method is my main way,Deadlyshot, sounds like your vet liked a little earner from you, most vets are full of sh*t when it comes to dogs and love the pounds more than the dog, most lads do their own maintenance after work in the field due to cost, hope your dog gets sorted,WM

yes wirral countryman £160 i think it was just to tell me that there's nothing really wrong and to tell me don't use the maxitrol as it is a steroid and just soothes the pain but ill give the golden eye ago is it used for around the eye or in the eyes as mine dog usually gets a watery eye

Just make sure eyes have no thorns in them and your ok , it comes with the job mate just check dog over when you get home cause ull be surprised where your dog has thorns stuck in them , warm salt water to clean cuts and natural honey to apply after cleaning (honey is a natural antiseptic and wont irritate dogs skin if your dog has sensitive skin)

if the eyes go a cloudy blue colour its an infection, treat it with optrex infected eye you can buy it at any chemist

Optrex is nothing more than a local anastetic(spelling, but makes thing go numb) and will just hide a problem by making it not hurt any more.
