venomviper 129 Posted December 31, 2011 Report Share Posted December 31, 2011 hi ya folks well i got a phone off si saying him and davy were about for a bit of shooting so we arranged to meet up and mine while gem(my wife) made sarnies for all of us kev(baghdadnights) phil si and davy so we went over to the manor for a bit of a shoot and a little target practise well here are the the pictures of our day it was very wet and windy so not alot about cracking shooting from kev and si to and to young phil from a standing shot with his .25 at a used shotgun cart at 52mtrs lased. i hope they enjoyed as much as i did and i am hoping that davy will be over in the summer to help me set this wood up for a HFT shoot out here are the pictures all the best and a happy new year to everyone shay 1 Quote Link to post

Baghdadnights 150 Posted December 31, 2011 Report Share Posted December 31, 2011 Evening lads Now It was good to be chatting away to Davy under the bush but I was down wind fro Davy and his after effects of Guinness from the night before. So although the conversation was great the smell was bloody lethal shame the squirrels weren't down wind we would have had a bag full ha ha. Was great to meet Si and Davy though you were lucky you couldn't join us over my dairy farm permission. Half way across first field wind was threatening to blow poor Fenceboy across it then it absolutely chucked it down Atb Kev Quote Link to post

Would really like to thank you all for looking after me and Davy and also thank Gem for the butties. Thanks to Kev for the coffee and Phil for the excellent work on regging Laura’s Ultra with the Tench reg. As you all witnessed, metal target fell very easy with it and I didn’t even have to re zero after it being almost 1 month away at Phil’s. I really enjoyed my time with you pal and I think your Manor permission is one of the best I’ve ever shot on. I reckon the spring and summer there will be brilliant mate and would like to come down again if the offer is there. I and Davy also have a few nice permissions up my way with lots of rabbits and your welcome too for a shoot pal. Now to the proper business, forget the shot gun cartridges and let’s talk about the very small piece of wood that the HW100 S took from the standing unsupported position at 35 metres or the challenge that Phil set me on the 3 long range shot gun shells (he gave me 5 shots) and I did them all in 3 brag brag, my dads car is bigger than your dads car LOL. .
