Can dogs have false seasons

If anyone remebers i made a topic about puppys first season, all the dogs where getting abit, well yeno how you all our after a drink, and she was giving off she was coming in but never did, i spotted a few speccles of blood this time so im pretty sure shes in season, but last time she didnt come in?

 

Is this common or possible? just found it abit odd

its very strange there all differ a bit when coming in they don't all have to bleed

the missus has a little fanny liker (papillon) and she only comes in every 12months. a mate has a russel x that comes in every 4 months (pain in the arse, drives all the others mad).

they can have seasons where they dont come in properly. bitches do vary abit on when they stand for a dog aswell some will stand at 11 days others wont stand until day 19 when they are almost out of season.

 

bitches can also have phantom pregnancy's they will have full milk on them and there stomach swells like they are definately in pup.

 

my sisters spaniel had a false pregnancy every time she came in season.
