mishaps................

if your dog has a mishap like mine did this morning,seems her and the ferret aint mates no more,dont tell anyone if you can smile about it and say things tongue in cheek it wont make you look good and may even seem like your bragging about your dogs capabilities on making a kill.

i should have sat on my ferret box and let the tears roll down my cheeks as i sobbed uncontrolably wondering where it all went wrong,taking comfort from the golfers on the course when they inquired was i ok and calm enough to drive home by myself after witnessing such a traumatic event.

will i ever be able to keep ferrets again time will tell i mean they do say its a healer afetr all

 

tongue in cheek dont work on here,you cannot make light of any incident,you have to say EXACTLY how you feel and dont be afraid of showing the tears other wise you could be totaly misunderstood and people might think you dont care

If I were in that position it would be the dog who was the most upset. Mine pulled a ferret out of a hole one time (unharmed) and he's not done it again

My my LT, you are turning into a bit of a drama queen

Your original post's before you decided to edit them, consisted of you bragging and laughing on how your dog killed a ferret and would no doubt go on to kill many more before you would be able to break the macho beast, and when i pointed out something like that was not imo funny, you suddenly edited all your posts and became the teaching messiah of THL, your posts were just to inform other member that accidents can indeed happen.
