Guest Frank
Rabbit, pigeons, hare, pheasent, crows (freeze first), complete ferret food, as a last resort, or in the summer when their is flys about. I usually feed complete food during the day and whole carcasses in the evening and take it out again first thing in the morning, this cuts flys down. Good luck. Frank. Quote Link to post

mole catcher 1
I find in the last week of lactation a bowl of crushed dry food mixed with lactol kitten milk helps the jill no end, also this is a good way to help wean the kits. let them have it at about 3 weeks old and onwards for a few weeks with their normal meat based food. you can buy lactol from any pet shop and just mix it at a little less strengh than you would for kittens, pour it on the powered dry food a make a watery porridge. this also helps bring the nursing jill back up to her former self Quote Link to post
