Rabbit, pigeons, hare, pheasent, crows (freeze first), complete ferret food, as a last resort, or in the summer when their is flys about.

I usually feed complete food during the day and whole carcasses in the evening and take it out again first thing in the morning, this cuts flys down. ;)

Good luck. :)

Frank.

I find in the last week of lactation a bowl of crushed dry food mixed with lactol kitten milk helps the jill no end, also this is a good way to help wean the kits. let them have it at about 3 weeks old and onwards for a few weeks with their normal meat based food.

you can buy lactol from any pet shop and just mix it at a little less strengh than you would for kittens, pour it on the powered dry food a make a watery porridge. this also helps bring the nursing jill back up to her former self ;)
