hi all havent been out for a couple of weeks with the ferrets so had to do a bit of that thing christmass shopping first and then me and the wife decided to take one of johnnyboys kits and good old faithfull alice for a mooch round the lanes by the house we did the next doors huge compost heap we couldnt net it cos we couldnt realy get any on it well lala the jrt marked it realy well so with murphy and spud the lurchers one side and lala and bam the other side i put alice in and all was quiet when out run not one but two rabbits and right through the fence out came alice so i put her back in and within seconds out comes another followed by murph he jumped over the fence and gave chase but not to be so off up the lane into a field all the dogs go mooching when that sound of the old cock pheasant good old murphy came back with it as proud as punch so off again lala marked another hole but while we were looking for other outlets it bolted again with murph on it tail only to go through the fence and hedge never mind ill get him another day anyway had a good walk and took the two pups to get them use to the ferrets and it gave them all a good workout only manged to put johnnyboys kit down one hole but she worked it well and best of all on the way back my neighbour asked if i would put the ferret in his camper as he thought he had a rat in it dont know how its got in so in went alice but no rat fairplay she went all round the camper never been asked to ferret a camper befor thanks for reading

hes done well today realy good with the ferrets never botherd with them right by his face and bam she did well with them to ill get him back fit over christmass while im off atb

thought it was mate how dos that breed work cos i got a alsation and put up a fred up asking if its a dog worth working . and it was mixed replys.

and i carnt see a lurcher x alsation being a nice looking dog have you got any more pics of him .

i like the alsation breed good working dogs hes doing ouite well but i havent realy pushed him just letting him learn off his dad he will run rabbit for rabbit with his dad ill put some more pics up for you

he getting there he had a few rabbits ill see more next year he about 10 foot be hind his dad at the moment we take the alsation on the lamp sometimes shes got good speed he will give his dad a hand on the charlies next year just pm me any time atb malc
