Ideation 8,217
The wee dog has been layed up for a couple of weeks, after cutting his foreleg open on some barbed wire while out ferreting, he had the stitches out monday and as well as lots of road walking has been having his first off lead walks this week, but taking it slow and trying to keep him away from cover etc as it is still a bit tender. Decided to give him the chance of a bit of a hunt this evening, and get him working a bit, to build back fitness etc, and hopefully take the edge off him before ferreting tomorrow, so i took him to a little scrubby woodland where there are sometimes the odd one or two knocking about. Had a run in with a collie that appeared out of nowhere at the start and then it vanished equally as quick, i think it was taking itself off for a walk from local farm. Anyway, dog worked well, pretty much back to his usual self, and was rewarded with a good hunt, run and catch, a long a stream 2 Quote Link to post
