GRAM71 29
i used m10 bolts, chem fixed into an exterior wall. firstly, position the cabinet, mark the holes, move the cabinet, drill the holes, reposition the cabinet, squirt in the chem fix, insert bolts, leave for a couple of hours to cure, do up nuts. Deker 3,491
You need the appropriate fittings for the surface you are fixing the cabinet to, this is likely to be different if it is wood, plasterboard, breeze, insulating blocks, brick, etc etc There are guidelines. One of my cabinets has side fittings into Thermal insulating blocks, back fittings into plasterboard and base fittings into wood. On top of that it has edge batton trim all round it securing it even more. Solid as a rock and a multitude of different fittings! My FEO who has only just inspected for the First time ever, was seriously impressed! Quote Link to post
