My attempt of the Hunting Life Forum meet match stick challenge

Recommended Posts

Hi lads,

Well as promised here is my third attempt at the June Hunting Life Forum meet match stick challenge with my HW100 S and Hawke Sidewinder scope this time though.

Thanks to Matt Hooks for the second challenge idea too.

After already trying this challenge 2 times un successfully with my Hawke Nite Eye scope, the use of the thinner Hawke Sidewinder reticuled scope as made all the difference I think.

As you all will see when you come to attempt this challenge yourselves in June, it’s not easy, very testing and will make for a good competition while testing your marksmanship skills to the limit.

Will anyone do it in 10 shots? I think after trying it today myself the answer will be yes but it will take great skill and you to be on your best shooting form on the day.

If I would of concentrated more myself today i could of achieved it in 11 shots I think.

Who will be then the first indoor match stick Hunting Life Forum challenge champion?

We will all have to wait till June next year to find out.

For the lads attempting this challenge with a springer / gas ram i think its only fair to give you 25 shots or less as a good score to finish the challenge in.

I hope you enjoy the footage

Si.

Hi davy,

Yes mate. I think each member wanting to attempt the challenge should get a max of 2 attempts over the weekend.

I didnt have the pressure of anyone watching me today like you did so we all should shoot again with the same pressure.

It will be a brilliant little comp i think.

Will have to have a recoilling and recoilless group and prize.
