HarveyTheHunter 6 Posted November 10, 2011 Report Share Posted November 10, 2011 hey mate, basically just keep persevering with your ferrets just keep putting them down the hole don’t force them over time they will get use to it and in the end they will be able to work a warren well but keep persevering and they will get their but make sure ur ferret is from a good working line mine are and they are great! jimster68 123 Posted November 10, 2011 Report Share Posted November 10, 2011 if they are youngsters get them running through some old drain pipe first from a young age ,when they come out the other end pick them up gently ,ive found if i do this with my youngsters i have very little problem getting them going ,if there not so keen you could also try working them with an older ferret that knows the score ,this would also let you know that there was something in the burrow .you may have been entering your ferrets into empty sets so it might seem like there not working .as has already been said dont just give up keep trying them if all else fails try buying a couple of good workers .
