Not telling you how to do it but in my limited experience if you do cut it you won't get much to bolt because of the noise thats been made ? Can try and arrange another time if you fancy it ? I've never really found that cutting the same day has a huge impact as long as the ferrets are up to their job. We do plenty of bashing our way into sets, and then ferret then straight after, same as running rabbits to ground with the dogs and the immediatly ferreting. Seems to work fine. I've never understood the folk who net up a big set and then sit about and 'let it settle' for like 20mins. f**k that Jamie mate - usually always free to come down, with the stinkers, mutt, nets etc. Just we've had this Sunday arranged for a good couple of weeks.
