Guest big e Posted March 28, 2007 Report Share Posted March 28, 2007 Itook my pup out last week hes 8 mths i sliped him on to a rabbit he got a great course but he let out a few yelps before he finally caught it,is this bad,have i started him to early and will this stay with him as he gets older? I wudnt say starting him early on rabbits would sour him but i let the muscles fully develop before giving him too many runs. Quote Link to post
Ray Mears 272 Posted March 29, 2007 Report Share Posted March 29, 2007 at 8 months old mate its far to young imo. the dog does it because he knows the rabbit is pulling away from him and the dog is getting pissed off. if i was you i would leave him for a few months until he gets abit faster and gets better mentally..........
