I use the scissor type nail clippers, i find their best ones. The other ones tend to split the nails.

I use human nail clippers, as long as they're sharp, works fine. Opposite to cutting human nails (horizontally), use the clippers vertically on the claws so it doesn't split them. Atb.

ive tried the black and red ones outta pets at home, there ok, got a smaller pair from a pet shop im going to give a try next time they need trimmng tho

just run of the mill nail clippers as long as there sharp i found the smaller type ones from boots were best.

Easy to see how much to take off in a albino mate you can see the blood in the quick of the nail a lot harder in a ferret with coloured nails so if you unsure just take the tip off

Dont cut them too short, ferrets need long claws it's what they use to work rabbits.

if you have an accident and clip too short and its bleeding dip the claw in potassium permanganate crystals it will clot striaght away, get it from any chemist

hard worked ferrets shouldnt need clipping mine have a concrete bottom in the court so that keeps there claws nice and short

Mine have only just gone 4 month old mate there not too long but could do with a clip

Not strictly true.

 

As hard as they work, they don't necessarily run on concrete.

Well I got some little scissors from pet at home only 3 pund bargain I fort they have a little notch in the blade all I have too do now is work out how I'm going too do it on my own
