ady-b 94
Having left it to start the bitch off properly this season (after a disastrous first trip out last February when at 10 months old she caught her first rabbit and promptly devoured it lol). The summer was spent allowing the pup to mature and spending time reiterating her basic training and wow what a difference a few months can make, she has now had around 9 lamping trips out and I have been slowly increasing the amount of slips each time, she has now accounted for 30+ rabbits, this being the biggest bag of 7 last night. She is maturing into a steady hunting companion who runs with real fire in her belly and is quite happy to follow the quarry where ever it goes which leads to some heart stopping moments at times but is excellent to watch and because of this has got two of my boys totally hooked on the sport . This season has started well and hopefully will continue as me and my boys are loving every minute 1 Quote Link to post
